Green actually addressed this back in 2014 in an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, stating, “I don’t really get it. The trailer was actually banned from ABC because they felt the scenes were too racy for TV. When Green’s poster was released for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, it was rejected by the MPAA because they felt that it showed too much of the actress underneath the sheer gown. However, it hasn’t always made things easier for her in the entertainment industry. Launching her career into television and film, she continued to embrace this free spirit of thought in regard to showing off her body on screen. While it wasn’t readily available to the general public like other blockbuster films, it was popular enough to catch the eye of just the right people in Hollywood. ![]() ![]() Showing full nudity and graphic sex scenes, the film was quickly rated NC-17 and pretty much shunned in movie theaters. Starting off her career through the provocative film, The Dreamers, by Bernardo Bertolucci, Eva Green burst onto the screen with an unapologetic portrayal of the character.
